Livingstone Island Tour
During your exploration of Livingstone Island, which was named in honour of the famous missionary, you will truly understand the power of the Victoria Falls. The churning mass of the Zambezi River rushes past you before its headlong flight into the deep chasm below and if you’re feeling brave, you can even take a heart-stopping peek over the island’s edge to the thundering river below.
After the tour, you can relax and enjoy refreshments in the shade. Our canopied dining area also offers unique views of
the falls. For those keen on a swimming experience unlike any other, you can even brave the waters of this mighty river
in the island’s very own plunge pool, which forms each year amongst the rocks along the edge of the falls.
Tongabezi offers five trips a day to Livingstone Island – with a maximum of 16 guests at any one time. A twin-engine boat that carries up to 12 people will take you through the fast-moving channels of the Zambezi, a thrilling journey.
