Livinstone Island Walks
At times of low water, Tongabezi offers
walks from within the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park at the
Eastern Cataract to Livingstone Island.
Walks depart from the weir in the park at the following
times:
08.00, 09.00, 10.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 16.00.
All visits start from within the park at the Eastern
Cataract by the weir and run to Livingstone Island and back,
taking approximately 2 hours. In low waters there will be
the opportunity to swim in the Livingstone Island pool on
the edge of the falls.
Drinks are offered on arrival at the island. Qualified
guides accompany guests, with a maximum number of 10 per
group. Some fitness and balance is required. We recommend
you wear rafters or trainers on your feet. Flip-flops or
hard-soled shoes are not suitable. |
